How to prepare my device before visiting ICare?
1. Backup your data
2. Turn-off Find My iPhone/ iPad/ Mac
3. Sign-out of iCloud and Apple ID
4. Erase All contents and settings
5. Remove SIM card (for iPhones and Cellular iPads)
6. Bring the device receipt and AC+ or Protect+ invoice (where applicable)

If your device is out of warranty, we charge a service fee when you book the device for service.

This fee covers service labour to process, diagnose and quote for the service required.

If you approve the repair quote, there is usually no additional labour fee to pay; you just pay for the parts needed. If you decline the quote, then your device is ready to collect, and there is nothing further to pay.

Yes, our team can assist you with data backup. Please ensure to bring an external storage device for data backup, or you can buy one storage device from our iCare

Your visit to iCare allows you to consult with a qualified technician to discuss the problem of your device. The following repairs can be covered under same visit, 

– Accessory Repairs.
- Repairs needing parts such as displays and batteries, if stock available .

It is not possible to retrieve data if the device cannot power on.

1. Using Apple’s Warranty Check Tool:

• Visit the Apple Check Coverage (https://checkcoverage.apple.com) website.

•Enter your device’s serial number and the captcha code provided.

•Click Continue, and you’ll see the warranty details of your device, including coverage for repairs and technical support.

2. From Your Device:

• Open the Settings app on your device.

• Tap General > About.

• Look for the Serial Number and either note it down to check on Apple’s website or tap Coverage Expired or Limited Warranty (if applicable) to see more details directly from your device.

3. Apple Support App:

• Download and open the Apple Support app on your device.

•Your device details, including the warranty status, will automatically be displayed under My Devices.

Unfortunately, we cannot unlock devices that are FMIP-locked. To unlock your device, you must disable the “Find My iPhone” feature by signing in with your Apple ID at iCloud.com or directly on your device. If you’re unable to do so, you will need to provide proof of purchase to Apple Support for further assistance. This is a security measure to protect the data and ownership of the device.
